Dr. Katharina Lehmann-Uschner
Climate Economist with the Arab Centre for Climate Change Policies at UN ESCWA
Dr. Katharina Lehmann-Uschner is a climate economist with the Arab Centre for Climate Change Policies at UN ESCWA. She has extensive experience in the areas of climate finance, mainstreaming climate change considerations into national development planning as well as analysing the socio-economic impacts of climate change. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed international journals, policy reports, and conferences. Prior to joining ESCWA, Katharina worked with the think tank Climate Analytics, the German Institute for Economic Research, the International Labour Organization, and the International Organisation for Migration. She holds a PhD in economics from Humboldt-University Berlin.
